Homework Extension Registration Fee

Students may petition to receive a Homework Extension, a one-month work period, running from the close of school until the middle/end of June, for any course, at the end of the Spring Semester, under the following circumstances only: Students MUST have a score of at least 65% in the course (i.e. the student must have a minimal, passing grade) Students MUST have completed at least two-thirds of the course work in the class. Parents MUST complete and submit the Homework Extension Form along with payment by May 23. An administrative fee of $50 per student and a per item grading fee of $15 will be required for enrollment in the Homework Summer Extension. The Homework Extension Form requests the following: List of those assignments per course that a student wishes to work on in the Summer Extension. Do NOT list quizzes on the form. Quizzes remain available to a student throughout the extension period. Exams and Review Quizzes may not be taken. At the end of the extension period, the items will be graded, and a course grade calculated at that time. The student transcript will be updated at this time.
