Studio Art 1: Drawing I - TNSP
Self-Paced Coursesare accessed through our learning management system. The students are guided by clear weekly schedules, instructional videos, and automated assessments. Courses are written to be completed in one academic year, but students set their own pace. No grading is provided, but answer keys are available for most courses. Access is for one calendar year.
Studio Description: Learning to see the order of things and produce, through the mastery of technique, beauteous things with paper and pencil are the goals of this course. Drawing is the simplest medium, but one necessary for work in all others.
Drawing I Skills: Focused on Line, Shape, and Volume. Types of line, simple to complex shapes, blocking-in, proportion, depth, and more! There are 6 projects, each of which requiring mastery demonstration of 5 skills from the focus listed above.

Age Range: 6th-12th Grades, recommended for beginning and intermediate artists; students must be 8th grade or older to receive High School Credit in this course
